Along with the increasing, planned and systematic violation of Human Rights in Iran, “Islamic Republic of Iran” condemned Mr. Mohammad Sedigh Kabodvand, the chief in charge of the Kurdistan human right defence committee, to 11 years imprisonment in Tehran Revolutionary court, branch no.15.

He was charged with acting against security of state by forming Kurdistan human right defence committee and propaganda against the Islamic State.

Mr. Kabodvand’s case is an example of Iranian government’s attitude toward human right and the activists in the domain.

Here it is necessary to mention that during the first 6 months of the year 2008, our network had reported 1021 cases, representing human right violation committed by the “Islamic Republic of Iran”.

We should remind that Mr. Kabodvand is suffering from heart disease and the government is responsible for any thing happen to him in the prison.

Hereby we demand you to investigate urgently his case and ask for his freedom.
