1-The Director in charge of “Vasmeh” a students’ publication of cultural institute organ of Yazd university was summoned by the observer committee on students’ publications of Yazd University, charged with non-observance of the public decency.(Shargh news paper 4/12/2006)

publication charged with publishing contrary to realty subjects refer to the
interpretation of the 213th verse of “Bagharah Surah”

manifest of 5 members of revolution council was summoned to the observer

4-The director in charge of “Hiss” a students’ publication was summoned by the observer committee on students’ publications of Yaz University in case of publishing satire which criticizes the political atmosphere of the country.( Shargh news paper 4/12/2006)
5-Shahab Moemeni a Islamic association member of Ahvaz University and Mohyedin Dashti a member of Islamic association of Dezful University, charged with making public anxious were summoned for interrogations to 7th branch of Dezful’s public prosecution.(ILNA 4/11/2006)
6-According to the statements of Mohammad ali Dadkhah a member of human rights defenders’ association, 16 students of Sharif Industrial University were summoned to the university’s disciplinary committee.(ISNA 4/15/2006)
7-Mahdi Pour Rahim and Kamal Razavi the editor in chief and director in charge of “Sabzandishan” publication detained by the write of the

“Dastanhaye Kootah” book written by Ali Ashraf Darvishian and contains 16 short
stories has waited for getting printing permission from the Ministry of Islamic Culture and Guidance for three years.
At first the ministry alleged that permission issuance is depended on the
elimination of 8 stories. After publishing the book in

15-Abolfazl Vesali the editor in chief of the “Neday-e-Azarabadegan” after disclosing a huge documented misappropriation of public funds by notable persons like the ex-minister of housing and urban development minister and managing director of Tabriz international fair, has been arrested and sent to jail by the order of 5th branch of Tabriz public prosecution.(Neday-e-Azarabadegan 4/18/2006)

16- Directors in
charge of some publications such as “Asia”, “Donya”,
“Tapesh”, “Donyaye Karateh”, and “Etelaate Pezeshki” charged with publishing
false news with the aim of making public anxious, misuse of people in pictures,
calumniation and insulting, with public prosecutor’s complaint, have been
summoned to Tehran’s Penal Court Branch 76 for trial. (ISNA
17- Mohsen dorostkar a writing member
of the closed weekly magazine,”Tmadon Hormozgan” and Elham
Afrootan the editor of health pages of this magazine
after 3 months of temporary detention in Evin have been summoned to Tehran
Islamic Revolution’s Court Branch 26, they were charged with acting against
national security, propaganda against the State, insulting Ayatollah Khomeini, Khameneii, and the officials. (ILNA
18- Afshin Zareii a weblog writer who was temporary imprisoned for 13 months and then released on bail of approximately 500 million Rials , was summoned to Tehran’s Penal Court Branch 76 .(ILNA 4/7/2006)
19- Ejlal Ghavami a writing member of
the closed weekly magazine,”Payam-e-Mardom” with
public prosecutor’s complaint was summoned to Sanandadj’s
Islamic Revolution’s Court Branch 1 for the trial. He was charged with acting
against national security, insulting Khameneii, and
relations with the oppositions. He was temporarily detained for 65 days and
released on bail of approximately 1,000 million Rials. (ILNA
20- Foad Sadeghi director in charge of “Baztab” website, charged with publishing false news, by the complaint of Ali Saeedloo the presidential executive deputy, was summoned to Tehran general court.(ILNA 4/18/1006)

journalist was tried in
22- Morteza Atri, director in charge of the closed weekly magazine,”Jahan-e-Pezaeshki” was tried in Penal Court Branch 1083 with the judgment of Hosseinian Judge, he was charged with “Publishing lies”, “Publishing pictures against public decency”, and “Publishing subjects against press law”, with Press Supervisory Board and public prosecutor and the Ministry of Islamic Culture and Guidance complaints.(ISNA 4/5/2006)
23- Ferydoon Vardi Nejad managing director of Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency “IRNA”, charged with publishing lies with the aim of public anxious, insulting and fabrication, with the complaints of Ahmad Rasoolinejad the former member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Firoozkooh and Damavand, Qom’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, “Saralah” seat of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, “Malek-e-Ashtar” Third Brigade Commander, Prisons organization and the director in charge of “Ylasarat el Hossein” weekly magazine was tried in Tehran’s General Court Branch 1083.(ILNA 4/8/2006)
24- Mostafa Kazazi director in charge of “Seday-e-Edalat”
news paper, for publishing lies, propaganda against the state, inciting people
and groups to acting against the national security, prestige, and profits of
the Islamic Republic of Iran and with the complaint of public prosecutor was
tried in
25- Parvaneh Kharaghani director in charge of “Jahan-e-Eghtesad” for publishing lies, and with “Sepah Bank Agency Co” complaint was tried in Tehran’s Penal Court Branch 76 with the judgment of Mohammad Reza Saremi.(ILNA 4/9/2006)
26- Abdolhamid Zahedi director in charge of “Avaye Kermanshah” weekly magazine, for publishing lies, fabrication and revealing martial secrets was tried in Penal Court Branch 1083 with the judgment of Hosseinian Judge.(ISNA 4/12/2006)
27- Masood Bastani editor in chief of
the closed weekly magazine, “Nedaye Eslahat” for attending in illegal gathering and disrupting
order (defending Ganji and Zarafshn`s
human rights) was tried in Tehran’s judiciary complex of Mehrabad airport. (ILNA

28- Ali Dirbaz director in charge of the closed weekly magazine,
“Tmadon-e-Hormozgan” for insulting Khomeini and with public prosecutor’s
complaint was tried in
29- Nik Ahang Kosar
the caricaturist of the closed newspaper “Sobhe Emrooz” charged with
calumniation and insulting Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi the director of
Khomeini Educational Institute, insulting Ali Larijani
the former president of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and likening him
to Saeed Emami, insulting Special Disciplinary
Tribunal for the Clergy, insulting and calumniation the official authorities

31- Based on the
National Security High Council’s order to the managing directors of the
dailies, weeklies, and news agencies should not to publish any analysis
contrary to the political states of the country or any kind of analysis refers
to the negotiations between

33- As reported
by Asma Jahangir the
special reporter of United Nations Human Rights Commission in religions fair,
by the order of Ali Khameneii the leader of Islamic
Republic of Iran, and the Military Forces of Iran commander, the
ministry of intelligence, Islamic Revolutionary Guard corps and disciplinary
powers have to recognize the Baha’is and gathering information about them.(
34- Supervisory Board of Shahr_e Kord’s Medical University objected with the speeches of Ali Akbar Moosavi Khoeini and Davoodi Mohajer the General Secretary of “Tahkim-e-Vahdat” organization, and a legislation council member of this organization.(Advar news 4/10/2006)
35-Vahid Poor Ostad a member of editor council of “Etemad Melli” news paper on the way to home was threatened to death and got battered.(Roozna 4/10/2006)
36- By the order of Saeed Mortazavi Judge Tehran’s Prosecutor, security and disciplinary powers prevented General Assembly of Iran’s Writers Association to be held in a private house, this assembly has been managed for electing the secretary mission of the association. Almost 80 of writers, Poets, Translators, and Researchers were ready to attend in general assembly. It should be reminded that it was the third time that security guards prevented this assembly to be held in two years.(ILNA 4/14/2006)
37- By the order of 10th article commission of parties and societies of the Interior Ministry, the license of the “Khoshnevisane Novin” society has been banned.(Now Andish 4/16/2006)
38- Behnam Vafa Seresht the political prisoner who were sentenced to 3 years imprisonment for backing for Mojahedin Khalgh organization, after 3 years and 6 months imprisonment was released on bail of approximately 1,000 million Rials.(Students committee of Human Rights reporters 4/15/2006)

39- Mohammadreza Khatami, general secretary of “Jebhe Mosharekat” was summoned to the government’s officials’ public prosecution for his declarations about deputies’ sit-in for protesting to rejection of competency of the 7th parliament candidates.(ILNA 4/12/2006)

committee of political prisoners defenders, was interrogated by the staff of

Rezaee Bijar’s deputy in the 6th Islamic Consultative Assembly was
summoned to the Government’s Officials’ Public Prosecution Branch 10. He was
charged with publishing lies with the aim of creating public anxiety, and

42-Abbas Amir Entezam, spokesman of the
temporary government of Bazargan was summoned to

43- Nader Rezaee one of the detainees of the last summer in Saquez charged with acting against national security was summoned to Saquez Islamic Revolution’s Court Branch 1 for trial. 44- Farshid Yadolllahi the attorney
at law and member of Fars Province Human Rights Commission of the Bar
Association, was tried in
45- Abdolfatah Soltani the attorney at law and vice president of Defense of Human Rights Center – DHRC - was tried in an unopened court in Tehran’s Revolution’s Court Branch 26, he was charged with acting against national security, propaganda against the state, insulting the judge “Saeed Mortazavi”, and espionage.(ILNA 4/19/2006)
Arresting Political, Cultural, and Social Activists
46- Azad Rasouli, Aboubakr Bab Piri, Khezr Saeed Nejad, Mohammad saleh Kookha Shireh, Khaled Shirzad, Aboubakr Tikan Tapeh, Avat Ghoreishi, Mohammad Amin Salimian, Saedollah Soltanian, Khezr Moloodi, Razgar Salimian, Dara Ghoreishi, Ribvar Salimian, Kamel Salimian were detained by security forces of Bukan for relations with Kurdistan parties. It should be notified that the number of detainees evaluated more than 100 people and most of them are surrendered members of opposition parties. 47- Fahad Heydari Ghavidel and Ali Mohseni two activists of Azerbayjan National Movement were arrested by security officials in Tabriz.(Hagh weblog 4/4/2006)
48- Dr. Moharam Kamrani and Ebrahim Rashidi the editorial

activists of Azerbayjan National Movement were
detained by security officials of Ahar.
The above-mentioned then transferred to intelligence office of

51- 80 year old Seyd Ahmad Shariati “ the Shariat” the head of Gonabad’s Nematolahi Dervishes for forcible possession (his own lands) was detained by the order of Qom’s public prosecutors office Branch 3 and released on bail of approximately 5000 million Rials.(ILNA 4/11/2006)

beginning of the year 2005 at least 66 “Baha’is” have been arrested in

57- Soleyman Pak Mina from Oshnovieh charged with relation with

61- Adel Zafari charged with attending in courtesy protests in Saghez in august 2005 without presence of defending
attorney found guilty in Saghez Islamic Revolution’s
Court Branch 1, and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment. He was 1 month in

62- Rasoul Nazm Naghadeh and Kaveh Rasouli whom arrested last winter in Mahabad were found guilty and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment and banishment in Naghadeh and Miandoab, they were charged with relation with opposition Kurd groups.( Kurdistan Human Rights organization - RMMK -4/14/2006)

63- Saman Rsoulpoor
a member of Kurdistan Human Rights organization - RMMK -who was imprisoned from
February 29th was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment and banishment
in Ardebil by Mahabad Islamic Revolution’s Court. In
protest at this sentence he is on hunger strike since April 9th.( Kurdistan Human Rights organization - RMMK
64- 24 year old Mohsen Papiri the political prisoner,
who is in jail since May 2005, is about one month that has been deprived of
visits and phone calls and he is in single detention of intelligence office of
Mahabad. He is arrested for acting against national security and illegal departure
