The families of prisoners
students ’Majid Tavaoli’ ,’Ahmad Ghasaban’ and ‘Ehsan Mansoori’ in an open
letter to Hashemi Shahroodi proclaimed:
During 80 days of
detention in Evin prison, chain 209, their children were under physical and
mental tortures in isolated cells to confess non committed crimes.
The tortures such
as beating, inflicting, keeping in small cells without place to move, obliging
to stand for long, using cables and whips for beating, not giving them to eat
for 48 hours, shooting them to walls and ... .(Norooz.2007.July.24)

Abbas Hakimzadeh, Amir Kabir
university students, released on bail after 45 days detention, revealed the
physical and mental tortures on himself and other students. The pressures that
made aggravated his stammering and damaging his spinal column. He mentioned the
whip marks, sexual pressures and suicide attempts of other students. (Amir

student in July 9th, was released on 50,000$ bail. (Isna.2007.Aug.3)

children. After publishing of the letter, the inspection team had summoned them
to the ministry of security and asked them to change their tune for not making
