Babak Zamaniyan member of the Amir Kabir university student Islamic Association was
released on 50,000$ bail after 38 days of detention in isolated cell. (Ilna.2007.May.28)

Mehdi Arabshahi, member of the Daftar-e tahkim Vahdat (State unity
strengthening) central council announced: in less than 2 months during the
current year, 147 students were summoned and interrogated in universities’
student committees and have received conviction sentences.14 student magazines
were banned and the activity permit of 5 students’ formation have been
